It's been over a decade since AOD used another form of voice comms.
We feel it was a necessary move that will provide AOD with the proper tools we need to be successful.

Please set your nickname on TS3 properly (AOD_Rank_Name). If you do so, we'll give you a Member Status on TS3. After that make sure you click the "Subscribe" button (picture above) to see people in other channels.

One thing I'd like to point out, you know how in vent, you had people in the parent channel show on top?
Well there is an annoying setting that was default on for me that put people in the parent channel sorted below the sub channels...
If you have that problem, here's how you change it, you untick this:

Once you have received privileges, they will be saved but yeah they still need to be given by a Sgt+ first

Lil protip: You can connect to the AOD server as soon as you start TS, by going to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks, and selecting "Connect on Startup" on the AOD bookmark profile. :D

I recently joined from Planetside 2 and I have yet to get fully brought in(Got the Vent info, sat in the room for a bit but had to hit the rack). I too am having issues getting any access.

for some reason i cannot connect i have uninstalled re installed rebooted and all i get is <06:21:57> Trying to resolve hostname (server name removed)
<0601> Trying to connect to server on (server name removed)
<0607> Failed to connect to server
any suggestions. Only difference I can see is that my old client never had a chat window at the bottom. I have cut and pasted the site name and I also used the ip address Oogie gave me still doesn't work. And when I use IP address all I get is this Trying to connect to server on (server info removed)
