AOD Logo and AOD based tutorials

Greetings,

Can some MSgt + let me know what the policy is on say if I do a tutorial on how to do paperwork in a section, or basically tutorials on basic AOD things.

Can I embed the image of the clan logo on there?

If hesitation, Can I embed the logo on there with MSgt+ approval?

"Technically" we have to give explicit permission for individual uses. AOD holds a copyright on the logo which creates a funny thing in law. If we don't go after people who use our logo with out specific permission we can lose our rights. I would say don't publish anything until the finished product is shown to and approved by the leadership.

Aye Aye, this is always due able, thanks for the fast reply Arch

You mean on the officer section?

Aye mainly for the Officers section, but also I was thinking of getting alot of these tutorial threads through out the forum and making them in video format such as. How to setup TS, how to normalize TS, how to save your identity in TS. How to use a reliant image host such as Imgur instead of the forum bandiwth [attachments] and post images using a medium or small thumbnail instead of the original size image.

Basic understanding on how to format posts and the various codes that Arch has enabled for use on the forums and their results.

All these things that would just be helpful considering alot of our members are people who say only play War Thunder and never played anything on the computer before that point in their life.

In my opinion, if it stays on members only section, there's no problem with putting AOD logo on there. You should just make the video private.
