Question: Do they make such events often? oO (Being able to get a premium plane as reward w/o actually using GE) ... I m quite new to the game and I already saw another event like that with that russian premium P 39. I got it easily back then and I think I ll get that one too.

Now it's 2 events like that rather short after each other...
They do events quite often, but what you can win varies a bit... Won't be a premium plane each time.War Thunder

Interesting, and quite nice actually. So far I used GE just for premium so its nice to have some premium planes w/o actually paying anything on them. I got the boomerang as well now!

Phew, managed to get one myself!
Problably made the Fw190A4 my best scoring german plane this way :p
(I played RB Air and used the A4 most of the time, you can secure kills nicely with this firepower, especially since it gets manageable opposition most of the time)

I also managed to get it easily with German planes. IV type ones. I used the me 410 (the one right before the ho229 on the tech tree) in the start of all fights for some head on kills (1-2 kills that way usually). Then I was jumping on my bf 109 g 10 and g 6 getting on average 1-2 kills more maybe 3-4 other times and last but not least my fw 190 a5/u2 with 6 20mm cannons. That thing is a beast for head on kills.

Yeah, I got the "bonus" drop for it...just don't have the eagles for it atm.

Used tier IV Germans and got both the Avenger and Hellcat in the same game :)
