Yeah I'll be away from War Thunder for a while for the same reason haha. I've made numerous upgrades to my system specifically for GTA V. My rig is valued at almost exactly $2000 for the parts at this point, so you could say I've been waiting for this day for a while.
I haven't had the chance to play GTA Online yet, probably won't for a while. I'm an achievement whore so it might be a while before I give it a shot haha. I can tell you that Online was amazing when I played it on 360 back at release and judging from YouTube videos, it's only gotten better.
The game is indescribably beautiful, and better optimized for PC than any other Rockstar game ever. With a single gtx 980, i5 3570k, and 16GB RAM, I can run it with everything maxed, 1080p, and it very rarely drops under 30fps. I turn off post processing though because I've never understood the point, and I turn off MSAA because you get little difference for a massive performance hit. With those two turned off, I never dip under 60fps.
It's just... it's so damn beautiful. Now we just need someone to mod a FW190 into it and we'll really be in business =P

Yea, I would expect as much and as a 10 year vertern of serious physics based racing simulations. I would expect it not to be the game for me anyway(except for aggressive stress relief venting purposes LOL)

mmm must buy a titan x or a triple 970 is sli for 5670x1080
but it runs oke on a 780 gtx
