ground targets with airkills will get you mucho $$$$. more so than just one or the other...so however you choose to do it..

airkills plus kills some ground AA with your fighters, or fly a couple bombers each match to get 10++ targets.

bombing doesn't earn you big score but it earns you big lions. the heavier or bigger the target the more you make ..bombing navy ships and heavy tanks = good money.

if you suck at getting airkills, your best bet is to bomb several ground units fast n low with several planes each match..your K/D goes to crap but your lions go through the roof.

Oh, it does earn XP big time... if you're doing it in a bomber. Fighters get less Lions and XP for killing ground targets than bombers do.

That's so true. But i would stay away from ships, especially destroyers. Those have a shitload of deadly AAA...
IMO, the best bombing targets are pillboxes, tanks and cargo ships (including the 'landing craft' on Krymsk). Especially pillboxes are easy to hit and veritable lion and XP pinatas.

Reviving this thread (cause why the fuck not). For me the best way I've been getting SL without premium account is the Toaster (Versuchsflakwagen) Rank 3 BR 5.7 event vehicle from the engineer event. If not that, then 5.3-5.7 URSS tanks RB.

I wish there were a way to farm SL from realistic play that didn't require a lot more skill than I have. ;-)

mid tier Arcade Assault revived my flagging interest in the game. First, it's pretty fun. Also nice co operating with the other players instead of being in hyper competition (in Realistic, you're even competing with people on your own team- just 'kill steal' and watch people go friggin banannas on you). In the less than 4 BR range it's pretty consistently winnable- also good target practice. It's how I get the 'feel' for any new vehicle I get because I don't have to lose 1500-3000 SL to get it out of the graveyard. Win all round.

I can only speak about Ground Forces. Cap, recap and cap some more... Often I will cap the same point several time! I'll cap and get out, then come back to fight the enemy and cap some more. Naturaly I will often choose easyer less crowded caps and a fast tank to start with. i am never short of SL
