Default MB2 Binds & Class Preferences Files

    Hey guys,

Does anyone know where mb2 stores user preferences? I found it once upon a time, but can't seem to now. I'm currently transferring computers YAY mb2 on windows again YAYAYAYA! and would prefer to not have to reset all my binds and class preferences.

    Thoughts?

Class preferences can be found in the Gamedata>MBII>forcecfg folder. Bind preferences you might have to reset because I can't find them either. :/

I'm a little late, so sorry for the necro. This seems like something everyone should know about anyways.

If you want to save your configuration (binds, name, settings, but NOT force profiles), open the console and type /writeconfig AOD_Malak and that will write an AOD_Malak.cfg file to your gamedata/mbII folder. Then just take that and dump it into your new gamedata/mbII directory. To load it, open the console and type /exec AOD_Malak

You can also use this to switch between "profiles" anyways. So I used to have an alias and I would just /exec the alias before I joined a server. Or you could have unique binds for unique classes. Like /exec soldier. You can also bind the exec commands to keys so bind r "exec AOD_Malak" should load that configuration. Hope this helps anyone who may be interested.

Kenshin you're the best! Haven't seen you in a while, hope you're doing well.
