Need advice.

Im looking to buy a joystick or joystick and throttle combinations, and I would like to know what do u guy's have and what u suggets.

i have a speedlink blackwidow that has a throttle control built onto the pad
its good for its price but ive got nothing to compare it to so i cant really say how good it is

lol i was thinking to buy the speedlink blackwidow, i dont have first hand expirience with warthunder and joystick but from what i read in the forums looks like only worth using it if you play on realistic or simulation mode , on arcade mode mouse have the edge.

yeah i dont really use it for warthunder since i cant find a control setup that really helps my performance plus im almost exclusively playing arcade

you just saved me 30euro. dropdown 1 thing that i find really important when you are going to choose joystick make sure that at the top of the stick has a trackball (not sure if thats how they call it) http://images.speedlink.com/prodpics...40_rgb_001.jpg the black thing at the top next to the red ones, so u can use it to turn the camera and look around the alternative is to use the mouse and its not handy when you use joystick.

yes the biggest problem with the blackwidow is that the smaller little analogue stick thing for controlling the camera only works in four directions and jumps as far in that direction as possible making it useless for camera control
i got around this by using one of the buttons on the pad to activate camera mode (equivalent to holding c on a keyboard) and using the joystick to look around

honestly arcade and joystick do not mix well for me at all i have razor mamba mouse with extra button to talk with while i fly and i use keyboard for rest and seems great so far.
