does the canberra realy play different then the b57

i just wanted to ask if the british canberra is realy different then the american b 57 because it looks realy look the same .
i know that the canberra has a bigger bomb load then the b 57.
can sombody tell me what the difference is between the 2 .

First things first:
The (brit) Canberra has not got a bigger bomb load per se, it just got one more option (4000lbs + 2x1000lbs) the bomb load itself stays about the same (B-57 has 'only' got 9x500lbs or 6x1000lbs). Th cookie bomb variant is a bit better for base bombing, but less flexible for bombing tanks and stuff... :)

Where the two really differ, is the flight performance - mainly engines. The B-57 has more powerful engines, so it's a bit faster and accelerates quicker, has a higher redline speed. On the other hand, the B-57 seems to be a bit more fragile in the wings, especially to negative Gs.

All of this is strictly RB, no idea if the difference is more/less pronounced in AB or SB.
